The Wilbur School is a unique tribute to exalt an educationist/scientist who was not only Late Pt. Raja Kumar Bakshi's tutor at Christian College, Lucknow but years later incidentally become a source of motivation and inspiration to his family. Sir Wilbur Thoburn was Born November 24, 1900 in Lucknow, India. He received a B.S. from the Allegheny College in Meanville, Pennsylvania;an M.A. from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois;an

M.S. from the University of Chicago; and a Ph.D. (1956) from lowa state college/University.He was Physics instructor (1924-1937) at the Lucknow Christian College in Lucknow. And year later co-incidentally became a source of motivation and inspiration to his family. Although he retired in 1970. He continued his research untill his death on March 14, 1992.
